Q: Question mark in
viewlog or log storage path?
A:
1. Log storage path
When the log storage path showing a question mark "?", it would
suggest that the GV main system does not have access to the
specified path.
When this happens, please make sure the Windows user account which
access the GV system should have write permission to the
directory.
Please kindly check if Windows disk
compression is enabled as our main system application does not
support compressed disk drives.
2. Viewlog
In the event list, when the question mark "?" appears, it would
suggest the recorded data you wish to view does not exist in the
database. This problem may occurs when recycle option was in effect
and has recycle the video file for view.
In order to remove the question mark as well as rebuild the
database, please exit the main system and execute "Repair Database
Utility".
Q: System has
stopped recording and showing disk space low.
A:
The recycle function for the
system may have been disabled under system configuration
(F9). User should enable to the recycle function to avoid
recording being stopped.
Another possible cause for the
error is corrupted database files. User should then exit the
main system application and execute the "Repair Database Utility"
to repair the database so the recording may resume
normally.
